FRCSE Feeds Its Sailors

Fleet Readiness Center Southeast Detachment Mayport Sailors got a full stomach thanks to Chief's Mess, Wardroom and First Class Petty Officers' Association.
The Chief's Mess, Wardroom and FCPOA cooked and fed more than 200 Sailors and guests on Nov. 12 for its annual Feed The Sailors luncheon.
Approximately 26 turkeys, 50 pounds of honey-baked hams and more than a dozen side dishes were layed out the detachment's Support Equipment Bay. FCPOA brought side dishes and served the troops.
Representatives from the St. Augustine Navy League were also at the event to adopt the detachment and provide several sweets for dessert.
The luncheon is held during the season of giving to show appreciation to the troops for all of their efforts and hard work they displayed throughout the year.
