Families Welcome Fall To Base

The event featured free activities including face painting, balloon art, a caricature artist, bouncey houses, a mechanical football ride, the surf machine, a photo booth and numerous carnival games.

A wide variety of food and beverages were available at very reasonable prices. Entertainment was provided by youth and teens from MWR's Youth Activities Center along with guest DJ, Marvin Sullivan. Fall Fest 2009 was sponsored by Navy Federal Credit Union.

MWR's next major special event will be Magical Christmas on Tuesday, Dec. 8 from 6-8 p.m. at Beachside Community Center. This free, family-friendly night will feature the arrival of Santa Claus at Naval Station Mayport.
