Finalists will be picked by random drawing and will participate in a drawing to determine which incentive prize they receive at the CFC Celebration in late January 2009.
Special recognition gifts for leadership givers are: Double Eagle ($1,200+) Weekend Duffle Bag, American Flag and Eagle Award, Sandstone Coaster, and Key Light. The loaned executives for NS Mayport and tenant commands are Chief Electronics Technician (SW/AW) Cedric Daniels and Aviation Boatswain's Mate Equipment 1st Class (SW/AW) Adam Boykin.
The base-wide kick off and charity fair will be held on Oct. 1 in the Navy College Center, Building 460 at 1 p.m. All military and civilian personnel are invited to attend, but command leadership and coordinator/ keyworker participation is a crucial factor in getting the campaign enthusiasm needed to ensure a successful season. There will be numerous local community charities at the event to inform personnel about the services they provide and to explain how important donations through the CFC campaign are to their efforts.
Remember, donating through the CFC is the best way to show our support as federal employees for the worthy causes and organizations who rely upon support.
