SERMC Wins Spring Sports Challenge

SERMC won an impressive nine events and placed overall winner with 1375 points, followed by USS Philippine Sea with 1050 points and HSL-44 with 825 points.
Chief Gunner's Mate Jack Hollis of SERMC was selected as MVP Award Winner for participating in seven events and showing spirit and support for his command. The events he participated in include tennis, dodgeball, bowling, Ultimate Frisbee, volleyball and horseshoes. SERMC started its winning streak with the experienced canoe race. From there, the command was first in 8-ball pool, bowling, dodgeball, Ultimate Frisbee, volleyball, the Strongman competition, auto racing and Tug-o-War.
USS Philippine Sea racked up its points with participation and winning the softball and ping pong events.
HSL-44 won the tennis and skeet events.
This year's CO/CMC Canoe race was won by HSL-46.
Air Ops won the 3-on-3 basketball event, along with the 4-mile all terraine run. NS Mayport won golf.
ATG Mayport put up a good fight again this year, but was only able to bring home a win in horseshoes.
