How Has The Navy Improved Your Life? I've learned that life isn't always going to be easy and it shouldn't be.  The Navy has taught me that I can rely on myself and others to always find a positive solution to any problem work or life related.

Why was this Sailor chosen to be highlighted? Petty Officer Torres has exhibited outstanding performance and professionalism throughout his tenure on board Farragut.  He serves as Tactical Data Coordinator and CIC Watch Supervisor.  In addition, he is the Divisional Repair Parts Petty Officer (RPPO), stands Officer of the Deck I/P and Duty Master-At-Arms.  Recently, he provided critical TAD ATFP assistance to USS Tornado (PC-14).  He manned Tornado's M-240 gun-mount watch station and providing continuous waterside security enabling Tornado to meet critical Force Protection requirements.  Petty Officer Torres exemplifies naval core values and Farragut Excellence!
