It was a close competition, but LCS Crew 110 knocked out returning champs Naval Station Mayport by 25 points for the win at the 2016 Fall Sports Challenge hosted by MWR on Oct. 25-27.

This year's competition saw teams neck and neck through most of the events, which kicked off on Tuesday morning's CO/CMC Canoe Challenge. Lake Wonderwood was ruled by CNSS 14, who brought home the trophy in both CO/CMC and Experienced Canoe categories.

ATG ruled at 3v3 Basketball, whild FRCSE Det Mayport put their stamp on Frisbee Golf.

NAVSTA Mayport entered the race with their first win at Pickle Ball, while Crew 11o struck the pins right during Bowling.

LCS Crew 109 wouldn't be left out, winning the last competition of the day, Dodgeball.

Day 2 of events started off with a win from Fort McHenry in Baton Relay and a second win for NAVSTA in Skeet. Crew 109 kept the wins coming in Bocce and Horseshoes while NAVSTA showed their strengh in Mayport Warrior. HSM-40 turned in the winning card in Golf and Fort McHenry kicked to glory in Kickball.

Day 3 was dominated by Crew 110, who won Volleyball, Boat Wars and Tug-o-War. FRCSE shut out other teams in Badminton and Cornhole.

Top three places went to Crew 110, NAVSTA and Fort McHenry. Petty Officer 1st Class Nick Colby of NAVSTA was named MVP for his sportsmanship.
