DoN, GMH Get Money For CNRSE Project
GMH Communities Trust, through its military housing division, announced that financing has been secured for the Navy Southeast Region project covering family housing communities at 11 Navy bases located in five states throughout the Southeastern region of the United States. This financing provides the funding needed to initiate design, development and construction/renovation activities relating to the 5,269 end-state housing units covered by the project.

SECDEF Maintenance Award Comes To Mayport
Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) Site Mayport, formerly Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Detachment, Mayport, Fl., was the only Navy unit selected in this year's final cut for one of six field level recipients for the 2007 Secretary of Defense (SECDEF) Maintenance Award.

Haly Back from CNT Deployment
USS Halyburton (FFG 40) returned from their most recent Counter Narcoterrorism Deployment Nov. 30. Halyburton was conducting Counter Narcoterrorism operations under the operational control of Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command (NAVSO) and tactical control of Joint Interagency Task Force-South, in the U.S. Southern Command area of operations.
