In New England for the third time in the last four months, the Mayport-based crew was the center of attention in a city known for its hospitality towards servicemen and the Navy in particular. This was by far the most rewarding visit to the area as measured by the crew's enthusiasm on the final day as the city's National Hockey League team and coaching staff reported aboard for lunch and remained on board the entire afternoon touring the ship and paying tribute to the Sailors for their service to country.
