Get Off The Cell Phone Or Get A Ticket

Naval Station Mayport will no longer be issuing warnings to all motorists who are pulled over for using non-hands-free cell phones while driving on the base. Naval Branch Health Clinic Mayport will open flue immunization to all active duty and family members on Oct. 2 in the form of the FluMist (intranasal) influenza vaccine.

Gettysburg Returns To Mayport
USS Gettysburg (CG 64) returned to Naval Station Mayport on Sept. 8 after spending more than 15 weeks at the Atlantic Drydock Corporation, located on Hecksher Drive. Gettysburg entered drydock one month after returning from its highly successful Counter Narco-Terrorism deployment, during which it seized more than 28 metric tons of contraband.
