Arleigh-Burke class guided missile destroyer USS The Sullivans pulled into Naval Station Mayport on the afternoon of April 18.
On Sept. 12, The Sullivans left Mayport to meet up with the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group. However, no one could have predicted the journey that The Sullivans was undertaking.
