More than 700 Sailors and their families showed up Saturday at the MWR Mayport annual Spring festival, Mayport-Go-Round Saturday.

USS Gettysburg Earns 2007 Battle 'E'
Gettysburg was selected as the 2007 Battle "E" recipient from Carrier Strike Group 12 (CSG12). The battle efficiency award recognizes sustained superior performance among four command areas which are; Maritime Warfare, Engineering/Survivability, Command and Control, and Logistics Management. Within CSG12 Gettysburg was choosen as the Ship which best fulfilled the Navy's mission readiness requirements through a battery of exercises and inspections in all departments.

Klakring Hits 'Gate' Running
USS Klakring Sailors took part in the 31st Annual 15K Gate River Run on March 8. A mix of officers, chiefs, and junior enlisted joined approximately 15,000 other competitors on a cold and windy morning in downtown Jacksonville to compete.
